High-performance exploration is one of SLAVNEFT’s priority tasks. OOO Megion Geologia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra) and OOO Baikit Oil & Gas Exploratory Expedition (Krasnoyarsk region), the Company’s enterprises, explore the hydrocarbons fields at SLAVNEFT’s license areas.

SLAVNEFT and its Subsidiaries hold licenses for oil and gas prospecting, exploration and production from 34 subsoil areas. 38 oil and gas fields are located at these subsoil areas, including:

the Aganskoye, Arigolskoye, Achimovskoye, Vatinskoye, Vakhskoye, Vostochno-Okhteurskoye, Zapadno-Asomkinskoye, Zapadno-Pokamasovskoye, Zapadno-Ust-Balykskoye, Zapadno-Chistinnoye, Ininskoye, Ketovskoye, Kysomskoye, Lugovoye, Maksimkinskoye, Malochernogorskoye, Megionskoye, Mykhpaiskoye, Novo-Pokurskoye, Ostrovnoye, Pokamasovskoye, Polevoye, Pyatkovskoye, Samotlorskoye, Severo-Negusyakhskoye, Severo-Orekhovskoye, Severo-Ostrovnoye, Severo-Pokurskoye, Tailakovskoye, Uzunskoye, Fainskoye, Chistinnoye, Yuzhno-Aganskoye, Yuzhno-Ostrovnoye, Yuzhno-Pokamasovskoye and Yuzhno-Chistinnoye fields in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra;

the Kuyumbinskoye field (located in 4 license areas: Kuyumbinsky, Kordinsky, Abrakupchinsky license areas and a part of the Tersko-Kamovsky license area) and the north-eastern part of the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field (in the Tersko-Kamovsky license area) in the Krasnoyarsk region.

In 2018, a set of fulfilled exploration works, application of new production drilling technologies and transfer of discovered hydrocarbon reserves into commercial categories AB1C1 allowed the Company to ensure 218% of the resource base recovery (+30.1 mln tons). 15 new oil deposits were discovered in the Vatinsky, Lugovoy, Pokamasovsky, Severo-Pokursky, Yuzhno-Agansky, Yuzhno-Ostrovnoy and Tailakovksy license areas of KhMAO-Yugra; these deposits were recorded in books of the State Reserves Commission.

As for oil production, SLAVNEFT ranks 8th in the Russian Federation. The Company produces the main quantities of raw hydrocarbons in KhMAO-Yugra where OAO Slavneft-Megionneftegaz performs its operating activity.

OOO Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz (SLAVNEFT’s Subsidiary) develops the Kuyumbinskoye and Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye fields, which infrastructure is actively being constructed. The Enterprise commenced the hydrocarbons delivery in the system of the Kuyumba-Taishet oil trunk line in 2017. The export duty relief for crude oil was provided for the Kuyumbinsky Project as per the RF Government Decree.

In 2018, SLAVNEFT’s Enterprises produced more than 13.8 mln tons of crude oil and 936.0 mln m3 of associated petroleum gas. 247 new wells were commissioned at the Company’s license areas. The production drilling progress made 1,101.1 thousand meters.
