Exploration & Production

Effective exploration works aimed at the resource base expansion is one of Slavneft’s priority tasks. OOO Megion Geologia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra) and OOO Baikit Oil & Gas Exploratory Expedition (Krasnoyarsk region), the Company’s enterprises, perform the hydrocarbons exploration and prospecting at Slavneft’s license areas.

Slavneft and its Subsidiaries hold licenses for oil and gas prospecting, exploration and production from 33 subsoil areas. 37 oil and gas fields are located at these subsoil areas, including:

the Aganskoye, Arigolskoye, Achimovskoye, Vatinskoye, Vakhskoye, Vostochno-Okhteurskoye, Zapadno-Asomkinskoye, Zapadno-Pokamasovskoye, Zapadno-Ust-Balykskoye, Zapadno-Chistinnoye, Ininskoye, Ketovskoye, Kysomskoye, Lokosovskoye, Lugovoye, Maksimkinskoye, Malochernogorskoye, Megionskoye, Mykhpaiskoye, Novo-Pokurskoye, Ostrovnoye, Pokamasovskoye, Samotlorskoye, Severo-Orekhovskoye, Severo-Ostrovnoye, Severo-Pokurskoye, Tailakovskoye, Travyanoye, Uzunskoye, Fainskoye, Chistinnoye, Yuzhno-Aganskoye, Yuzhno-Ostrovnoye, Yuzhno-Pokamasovskoye and Yuzhno-Chistinnoye fields in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra;

the Kuyumbinskoye field situated in 4 license areas (Kuyumbinsky, Kordinsky, Abrakupchinsky LAs and a part of Tersko-Kamovsky LA) and the northern part of the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field (in the Tersko-Kamovsky license area) in the Krasnoyarsk region.

In 2017, the Slavneft Enterprises discovered 7 new oil deposits in KhMAO-Yugra and in the Krasnoyarsk region and recorded them in books of the State Reserves Commission. A set of exploration works, application of new technologies in the production drilling and transfer of discovered hydrocarbon reserves into commercial categories AB1C1 allowed the Company to ensure 184% of the resource base recovery (+26.4 mln tons).

In 2017, independent audit of Slavneft’s hydrocarbon reserves was carried out at 37 fields, 35 of which are located in KhMAO-Yugra and 2 fields are in the Krasnoyarsk region. Audit findings are shown on the basis of the evaluation made by DeGolyer and MacNaughton (international consulting company).
