Slavneft-Megionneftegas changes its business and legal structure


Slavneft-Megionneftegas changes its business and legal structure from the open joint-stock company (OJSC) to the public joint-stock company (PJSC).
The respective amendments have been made in the new revision of the Articles of Association. Company’s shareholders approved those amendments at the Extraordinary General Meeting, which was held on October 31, 2019.

Transfer to the new business and legal structure is stipulated by requirements of the federal law on Joint-Stock Companies and by requirements specified in Chapter 4, Part One of the RF Civil Code.

Slavneft-Megionneftegas is SLAVNEFT’s key production assets, which are owned by PJSC Rosneft Oil Company and PJSC Gazprom-Neft on a parity basis.

The Enterprise is involved in development of oil and gas fields in the Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut and Nefteyugansk regions of KhMAO-Yugra. Operations are carried out in 29 license areas. 

The performance results of 2018 show that the company produced approximately 14 million tons of crude oil.
