In 2010 OAO NGK Slavneft will many times increase the exploration drilling volumes in KhMAO-Yugra and Krasnoyarsk region
In 2010, OAO NGK Slavneft plans to increase the exploration drilling volumes in KhMAO-Yugra and Krasnoyarsk region over 10 times as compared to the previous year.
According to the Company’s business plan the drilling progress in the exploration drilling in the specified regions will amount to 32.7 ths m in the current year, including that one in KhMAO-Yugra – 17.65 ths m, in Krasnoyarsk region – 15.05 ths m.
In 2010, the capital expenditures of Slavneft into the exploration will increase by 8,3% up to $65 mln as compared to the previous year. The forecasted by the Company growth of the C1 recoverable oil reserves due to the exploration drilling must amount to 13.1 mln tons based on the year results.
The 2010 exploration program envisages also 2D and 3D seismic surveys in the volume of 450 linear km2 and 644 km2 respectively. In the KhMAO-Yugra 3D seismic survey will be performed on 355 km2, in Krasnoyarsk region – 300 km2. The Company plans to conduct 2D seismic survey only in Krasnoyarsk region.
In 2009, due to insufficient investments no seismic surveys were conducted by the Company. In the current year Slavneft plans to spend in aggregate $31 mln for the seismic surveys.
