OAO NGK Slavneft concluded the cooperation agreement with the Government of KHMAO-Yugra for 2010-2012

OAO NGK Slavneft and the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area-Yugra (KHMAO-Yugra) concluded the Master Cooperation Agreement for 2010-2012. This document was signed by Yury Sukhanov in his capacity of the OAO NGK Slavneft’s President and Aleksandr Filipenko in his capacity of the Governor of KHMAO-Yugra.
The signed Agreement determines the priority directions, principles and forms of cooperation of parties in the economical, financial and budget, environmental and social spheres. The key purpose of this basic document is further to develop long-term stable partner relations between OAO NGK Slavneft and the Government of KHMAO-Yugra. The Agreement is concluded for 3 years and may be automatically prolonged for the new 3-year period unless the parties otherwise express. 
Yu. Sukhanov and A. Filipenko signed an Additional agreement simultaneously with the Master agreement to fix the specific parameters of bilateral cooperation in 2010.  
According to the specified document, Slavneft intends to invest over 28 bln rubles to the production development in the autonomous area in the current year. The tax payments of the Company and its subsidiaries to the consolidated budget of KHMAO-Yugra will amount to 5.4 bln rubles.
The holding intends to spend over 1 bln rubles for the financing of environmental activities in the region within the current year.
The Slavneft’s subsidiaries which conduct their activities in KHAMO-Yugra plan to spend over 920 mln rubles for the implementation of social projects and programs for the employees and their family members which provide for rendering of monetary assistance to the employees in need, support of veteran workers, voluntary medical insurance of personnel, payments to non-state pension fund, implementation of other obligations according to valid collective contracts.  
The social investments of Slavneft to the regions development in 2001 fixed in the additional agreements amount to 100 mln rubles. The Company intends to spend these funds for the support of educational and sport institutions for children, creative teams and social organizations, rendering of assistance to communities of the Northern Indigenous Minorities, disabled war and labor veterans, financing of different charitable actions and projects. 
Having commented the signed documents, the President of Slavneft Yu. Sukhanov highly evaluated the results of interactions of the holding with KHMAO-Yugra Government in the previous period. He said that having concluded the new cooperation agreement the Company and authorities of the autonomous area confirmed their adherence to the principles of social partnership and readiness to integrating efforts to solve the social and economical problems which face the society once again.
